Topically apply the pain cream to the area of discomfort in a manner that feels good. Some aches and pains feel better to have pressure applied, some need a gentle touch. There is no right or wrong, do what feels good. The amount to apply can vary based on the size of the location you are applying to, but you do want to have enough to allow your skin to absorb the cream in, yet not sit on top. Apply the cream, after a few minutes rub any excess into surrounding tissue. You will find the amount that works for your personal situation.
